Magenta music & Wren song

  • Bread&Roses 68 Clapham Manor Street London, England, SW4 6DZ United Kingdom (map)

Laura Swain and Toby Hews are a pop/rock/soul infused acoustic duo from South London. They will be performing an eclectic selection of their originals.

WRENSONG (Maddie Martin and Ed Wren) is a new pop/soul duo based in West London captivating audiences around London and beyond. Marrying Ed’s highly distinctive and expressive songwriting with Maddie’s divine vocals, WRENSONG was born when the pair met at the Royal Academy of Music in 2023. In a few short months, the duo amassed a whole array of original songs full of strong hooks and imaginative turns of phrase. With profound debts to the jazz tradition, Motown, Steely Dan, John Mayer, and more, WRENSONG produces powerful melodies and grooves that burst through the acoustic format of piano and vocals to create a unique and emotive experience. A first WRENSONG EP is due to be released in 2025.
